Alright-it's the end of December. We've had a great year and sales really picked up for Christmas! Thanks to all of our customers and Happy New Year too! We look forward to seeing you on the roads and trails next season-- in the mean time-- grab a trainer and keep up the fitness. We've got Kurt, Tacx and Minoura in stock right NOW!

Well- it's looking pretty good- the chances of spring showing up soon, that is...

It seems like it's been a heap of days since we've had decent time in the saddle. Sure- training and some time away are to be expected. It's great to ride whenever, regardless of venue and time of year... Springtime- homefield advantage- different animal entirely.

I'm talking about bustin' out of the holding cell and tearing up the trails. Puttin' rubber down on mirror-smooth strip of brand new black top. Lookin' for any chance to top the last ride. It's pinning it as gravity embraces you, but spanks you hard if you disobey it. It's the top of the hill where gravity gets paid back- bent over and red faced.

That's it-Nothing beats it.

Let the discipline begin...

It's been far too long since the last post, and I must apologize. We've had a crazy-busy summer, full of races and events like the Opening of HorseShoe Resort's new Adventure Park, which includes lift accessed Down Hill riding. Only 20 mins from our store.
Our rookie-season as a race team produced great results- Check our facebook page for photos and results! Looking forward to next year as we hit the race courses around Ontario, both XC and DH. Exciting! Look for our race trailer and tents at ALL the events.
Lot's of Changes for 2011 in the store, and instore as well.
We've included some new brands/ products to serve you better; In addition to what we believe is the best stocked store North of Toronto. Again- check our facebook page for photos as new items are received.
New CANNONDALE are in stock now, GIANT is expected shortly. PIVOT continues to make huge gains with a solid reputation for quality and efficiency- all within a very short time frame. Try one and you'll become ONE of the many believers!
All TRAINERS are now in stock. TACX, Minoura and of course KINETIC by KURT.

Gift Certificates are available for those hard-to-buy-for, along with items that the avid cyclist must have.

Alright! We're now open 7 days a week!

It's been a rush these last couple of months. We've received literally thousands of products, tons of bikes and enough apparel to clothe a small country. Seriously, Tokelau would be set if they ever needed Lycra and Organic bamboo/cotton to survive.

What we have is likely the most well-stocked bike shop north of Toronto.

Bicycle Service is still shorter than a week on most occasions. Summer is still too short regardless of the time spring chooses to show up.

Hey Everyone- sorry for the lapse between posts.

We've been crazy busy at the Grin and are expecting to be even more so as the warmer weather fast approaches.
So if you haven't been following us on facebook, here's what's up: (in no particular order); INTENSE, PIVOT, XPREZO- all 20TEN in stock. SURLY-very soon along with HOPE, Chromag, MRP and others.
We are Industry Nine dealers for 2010 and will be unboxing 5TEN shoes in the very near future.
Our 2009 bike sale has been a huge success and the floor is rapidly filling up with 20TEN bikes, parts, accessories and clothing.
Spring clothing from Descente, Cannondale and Sugoi is now available.
Uvex helmets have made their way to the shelves and the latest Northwave Road and Mtn shoes are on display.
We have a great turn-around time on TUNE-UPS and will continue to reduce wait times as the staff return for the season.
We will be starting the usual TUESDAY night rides as soon as the snow leaves the trails-How's everyone for next Tuesday! Good news for sure.
We will doing some trail maintenance and trail cutting in the very near future for anyone interested. Any help is appreciated and only makes it better for everyone.

Happy New Year!

Christmas was the "capper" on another great season for us at the BTG! Thanks to everyone that helped make it our best year yet.

We've go lots in store, and instore we have lots! Product is still rolling in daily for 20TEN. Stop by and check out Pivot as they roll in as well as Xprezo out of Q.C.
Who could forget Surly- the PUGSLEY is gaining some attention and should be one of the coolest things we'll have in....Oh yeah, the KARATE MONKEY looks like a pretty sweet steel 29'er too.

O.k. it's here, and it's beautiful. The first frame has arrived from PIVOT.

It's a Black Anodized Mach 429 and it's as nice as I expected.

Outside magazine called it the Best Full Suspension 29er they've ridden!

You'll have to see it to really appreciate the attention to detail.

Both Giant and Cannondale have some pretty amazing bikes to unleash and BTG wants to have them first! If you've been saving your pennies, now's the time- get the hammer and crack 'er open. And besides; the weather has been awesome in the early stages of Autumn- plenty of riding weather left!

Most models of Cannondale and Giant bicycles are still available. Although with 2 of the hottest and most respected bike brands on the market- they won't hang around for long.

Continental tires are flying off the shelf, with the Mountain King being our #1 and most reliable tire by far.

New shipment of Camelback Hydration packs and bottles have arrived.

Spy sunglasses are a hot seller, although it would be nice if the sun poked out a bit more than it has lately! We have a great selection of frames and lenses.

We have recently been set up as a dealer of WANT energy drinks. They are great tasting and 15 cents from every sale goes to the support and development of action sports facilities across Canada.

IT'S BEEN A WHOLE YEAR!

Well it's hard to believe that's it's been 12 months for the "GRIN". The annivesary was actually on the 20th of this month. We've been so busy we haven't had the time to properly acknowledge the milestone. One of many to come we hope!
The details are being worked out for a great event to come. As per our style, we do things a bit differently. Stay tuned for some BIG announcements, including additions to our already stellar line-up and great events that will become a regular part of the BTG mode of operation!

Making up for lost time..
The spring has been tremendous for us at the "Grin". To say we've been 'busy' would be an understatement.
Bike sales are brisk, and with our 5 day return guarantee on Tune-ups we've been burning the midnight oil to make sure you get back on your bike in a timely fashion. We've said it before -'the summer is just too short'!
Look to the near future for exciting new additions to our own line-up of BTG accessories and clothing. We'll be offering up lots of cool stuff as the temperature rises!

PHEW!
It's been a crazy, crazy month or so since the last update.
Spring is coming on strong and we're ready! We're fully stocked and excited about all the new product rolling in on a daily basis.
We're turning over Tune-Ups quickly so you can get out and ride. Most times you're in and out within the work week.

February is taking it's last frosty gasp as the GRIN prepares for Spring.
We are loaded for bare!

The New Year is here and we're waist deep in the fluffy white "stuff".
Good time for a quick overhaul of the shop.
